The American Civil Liberties Union
This is one of the organizations that are known worldwide for its efforts to defend the rights of immigrant communities. The group ensures that any laws that are passed by various administrations align with the human rights declaration of the UN.
The organization also participates in creating public awareness about their rights as a people and the action they should take in case they feel their rights are being curtailed.
The Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund
This fund group supports groups that advocate for the rights of migrants in Arizona. The fund group was created by Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin. The initial investment into the group was $3.75 million, realized from a court case settlement.
Michael and Jim want to see a society that respects the rights of others irrespective of their differences be it color or origin.
